GLORIA – Academia-Industry Collaboration Achievements Successfully Exceed NT$2.1 Billion in 3 Years
Announcement GLORIA – Academia-Industry Collaboration Achievements Successfully Exceed NT$2.1 Billion in 3 Years
The Ministry of Science and Technology has been since 2017 promoting the Global Research & Industry Alliance (GLORIA) program, expecting to build an Academia-Industry-Research collaboration platform and allowing Taiwan's high-quality talents and scientific research capabilities to contribute to Taiwan's industrial development. GLORIA congregates the top domestic and overseas academia-industry cooperation groups with focus on forward-looking technologies to further complete the industry-academic cooperation incentive scheme by establishing industry liaison centers and expert employment systems.

GLORIA has created a lot of brilliant achievements ever since its establishment. A total of 20 domestic universities across north, central, and south of Taiwan covering 9 industrial domains have established alliances with GLORIA to serve more than 350 domestic and foreign corporate members, contributing to 3,639 cases of academia-industry cooperation and technology transfer, valued at more than NT$2,100 million. We believe that GLORIA has successfully unveiled a new model of domestic academia-industry cooperation.
