2019 Taiwan Tech Delegation of Indonesia Innovation Industry
Event 2019 Taiwan Tech Delegation of Indonesia Innovation Industry
Taiwan is still looking forward to the first unicorn of start-ups. There are already four unicorn companies in Indonesia. Indonesia is one of the most active and dynamic countries for innovation in Asia. As Jamie Lin, the founder of AppWorks said, the innovation ecosphere in Indonesia grows faster than Taiwan. Whether it is to learn the development process of Indonesia's start-up eco-sphere or to explore innovation markets in Indonesia, Indonesia is an important partner of Taiwan.

Although Indonesia's innovation market is the demand for suitable talents has become a hot potato. The talent gap has made international companies' investment hesitant. Recruitment of talents is bound to become one of the keys in the Indonesian market. It is even more challenging to find talents with software engineering or digital marketing background, especially the local talents, which can help them to meet the local demand from start-ups or the investment market.

Talent is the most important project for the cooperation between Taiwan Tech and its partners, and it is also the key to industry development. Taiwan Tech has the most Indonesian alumni and has cultivated Indonesian talents for more than 15 years. The delegation of Indonesian innovation industry visit is organized by the Taiwan Tech GLORIA and industry 4.0 Center. It aims to understand the current situation of the development of Indonesia's innovation industry and discover opportunities to collaborate, which also meets the objectives of the Taiwan Government's New Southbound Policy.
