  • NTOU Global Research & Industry Alliance establishes educational cooperation with Myanmar enterprises
On March 27, 108, Shwe Pyi Aye, a representative of Myanmar Ambassador Mr. Okkar Myo, signed a cooperation memorandum with Global Research & Industry Alliance to assist Myanmar to develop local wetland ecological conservation, tourism and aquaculture industries through Global Research & Industry Alliance, conduct climate change and environmental impact assessment and water quality Monitor and develop ecotourism and shrimp aquaculture, etc. Under continuous cooperation, it is expected that students will be dispatched for overseas internships in July and August of this year. To receive job training in order to prepare for future employment and implement the application of aquaculture technology.
Internship organization MOEYUNGYI WETLANDS RESORT communicates with Director Ming-Wei Lu of the Operations Center of University-industry Collaboration through the Taiwan-Myanmar Economic Trading, The new southbound project also cooperated with the aquaculture department of our school. With the other party's high expectations and our Global Research & Industry Alliance investment, I believe that this internship can be successfully completed and achieve the expected benefits.
Expected benefits of education cooperation:
(1) This internship will strengthen the link between the school and the Myanmar aquaculture industry. Myanmar has abundant water and warm seasons. For the environment suitable for aquaculture, the key points to be improved are seedlings, aquaculture technology and equipment.
(2) During the two-month summer internship process, students can gain real experience outside the classroom by personally participating in industrial operations or technical applications in related fields, and then combine the knowledge of professional courses to implement technology development and applied science. Mainly aquaculture technology.
(3) The content of the internship includes not only wetland farming, but also ecological explanation teaching by local certified commentators, understanding the local diverse ecology in foreign languages, and also studying ecological explanation work during the internship process. Enhance foreign language skills and communication skills.
(4) At the same time, the school continues to respond to the new southbound policy promoted by the government, and implements the spirit of technical exchange, information sharing and mutually beneficial cooperation.
