  • Far East University GLORIA uses super critical fluid technology to develop graphite nanosheetas a partner investigator of UniSA receives $680,000 AUD funding from Australia government for 2 consecutive years.
The FEU GLORIA team applies its patented technology to produce graphite nanosheet with excellent property for plastic pump, conveyor belt, turbine blade, drone, rail track, aviation and other markets with high strength and light weight property requirements. Market value is roughly $1.5-2 billions USD globally.
In 2019, FEU, UniSA, and ADRIS applied for Australia sponsored project and receives $330,000 AUD funding. In 2020, FEU GLORIA, UniSA, and RMIT U. apply ARC DP project and received $350,000 AUD from Australia government. ADRIS also contributed $180,000 AUD into the project and work with FEU GLORIA to design the composite for mining industry.
FEU’s one stop shopping model based on material science innovation is an effective approach for industries to tap into the new technology in a relatively fast time to market manner. With the successful deployment of an effective pilot case and funding from governments, the team will bring more solutions to the market eagers for innovation.
