Visiting Jakarta Smart City Lounge
Indonesia is one of the most active and dynamic countries for innovation in Asia and an important partner of Taiwan. Taiwan Tech GLORIA and Industry 4.0 Center work together with enterprise representatives to explore Indonesia's new venture investment and cooperation opportunities. The units visited this time include OVO company, JABABEKA Group, Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal, Jakarta Smart City Office, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Taipei Economic and Trade Office in Jakarta, and Indonesia Taiwan Chambers of Commerce session.
The talent gap for Indonesia's innovation market has made international companies' investment hesitant. It is even more challenging to find talents with software engineering or digital marketing background; which Taiwan Tech can help Taiwan companies who are interested in the Indonesian market to bridge the local talents demand by the relationship with top universities in Indonesia and Indonesian alumni cultivated for 15 years. With this visit to ITB, Taiwan Tech and ITB will jointly hold a workshop for innovation and technology soon. Taiwan Tech will continue to assist the business partners in developing the Indonesian market.
