National Chung Hsing University and FWUSOW Industry Co., Ltd. signed the GLORIA Membership contract and the University-Industrial Cooperation MOU at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1 and expect to cooperate for the next a-100 -year on 19th, June, 2019 was signed byProf. Fuh-Sheng Shieu, the Presient of NCHU, and Mr. Yao-Kun Hung, the President of FWUSOW industry Co., Ltd. Meanwhile, Fwusow industry formally joined NCHU GLORIA, which membership contract was signed by the CEO of NCHU GLORIA, Mr. John Hsu, and the President of Fwusow industry, Mr. Yao-Kun Hung. And, the professor of the Graduate Institute of Veterinary Pathobiology, Mr. Ter-Hsin Chen, proposed the cooperated research achievement, which is “To improve and enhance the quality and health safety of domestic chickens by the air-cooled process.”
Mr. Fuh-Sheng Shieu expressed that both of NCHU and Fwusow Industry have been deeply involved in academic and food fields respectively for a hundred years, contributing to the talents cultivation and the needs of people’s livelihood in Taiwan especially both are cerebrating a 100-year anniversary, we two also have the honest management and hardworking training. While celebrating a hundred years’ anniversary together, both will maintain a good concept and future through the inspiration of industry-university cooperation for the next milestone of food safety and industrial development in Taiwan.
On the other hand, the President of Fwusow industry, Mr. Yao-Kun Hung said that in addition to implement the mission of providing food security for people health, Fwusow will improve and certify its laboratory to the international standard a to strengthen the food safety quality control system. Meanwhile, the company also introduced automation management and artificial intelligence technology to improve internal processes to accelerate transforming into the smart factory. These will help Fwusow Industry to accumulate positive experience and development. In 2018, Fwusow also passed SGS verification of the "BS 8001: 2017 circular economy standard", which obtained the highest level and best optimized business model innovation and embodiment. Fwusow Industry will continue to cooperate with NCHU on the high academic research and development skills for the next hundred years. Hope these could help Fwusow Industry to enhance more new opportunities on the fields of products and technologies.
NCHU and Fwusow Industry have entered many industrial-university cooperation achievements in the fields of biotechnology, health food, and meat processing for more than 10 years. Moreover, there are more than 400 entrustment inspection cases from NCHU Soil Survey and Testing Center, and The Animal Disease Diagnostic Center (ADDC) until now. Therefore, this ceremony would be really meaningful to show bilateral effort and spirit of deeply industrial-university cooperation to improve food safety for people.
